Off the Rehab Water Damage Solution

Did you know?

Mold and Mildew can be a bit of a challenge here in Oahu, especially with our unique humidity situation. Not everyone has AC, and a lot of homes rely on the breeze for that fresh air feel. When the weather's not cooperating, keeping mold at bay can be a bit tricky.

Mold and Mildew can be dangerous to our health. It causes nasal stuffiness, eye irritation, throat irritation, wheezing, and skin irritation in some cases.

These pesky mold spots tend to pop up in humid corners, and you might spot them hanging out in the bathroom or cozying up next to your favorite carpet.

Not the ideal neighbors.

It's also not safe to be in a building where mold might creep in due to a water leak.

Our client Derek, from a local physical therapy clinic, faced a similar issue.

Derek shared that water damage had seeped under the walls in their clinic, and initially, they tried tackling it with a home carpet shampooer. They needed a thorough steam cleaning to prevent mold, so they reached out to us.

We discussed the cleaning order and focused on starting with the carpets. In situations like this, steam cleaning is the go-to solution for removing mold. In the steam cleaning machine, we mix detergent with water and target the affected areas. Antimicrobial solution is also utilized to help eliminate mold and curb its growth.

Considering Derek's urgency, we inquired about airflow in the facility and learned he already had fans in place. We suggested leaving our own industrial air movers as well.

Derek was really impressed with how we handled the mold situation at his clinic. He thought steam cleaning was crazy fast and worked like a charm—totally blew Derek away.

He liked our idea of using air movers for better airflow.

That kind of client review never stops feeling good. I think we’re addicted.

Awesome!
